Philly Eats: Bar Ferdinand

{ALMEJAS: Steamed little neck clams, tomato, fennel}

Last week I discovered Bar Ferdinand, a great Spanish tapas restaurant with romantic decor and killer sangria. The quaint venue features dried roses hanging around the perimeter of the bar- which ads a very rustic, romantic feel. This Philadelphia restaurant had many delicious options on their menu, and we were pleased with everything we tasted.  Must haves include their sangria (by the pitcher), the razor clams and the baked goat cheese.

{The amazing red wine sangria}

{QUESO DE CABRA COCINADO: Baked Caña de Cabra goat cheese, roasted garlic, honey, pinenuts, sage, toasted bread}

{PATATAS BRAVAS: Fried potato, spicy tomato sauce, aioli}

{POLLO Y CHAMPIÑÓNES EMPANADA: Roasted free-range organic chicken, mixed mushrooms, sherry, greens}
